Lavender Amethyst is the light purple variation of Quartz. Its color is due to irradiation and iron impurities in the stone. Although once considered less desirable than darker amethyst, its popularity has grown due to intense marketing and popular demand.
These particular beads have been cut and polished into faceted rondelle beads.
