Labradorite is a Feldspar mineral named after the region of Labrador in Canada where it was found in 1770. It is treasured for its remarkable play of color, which shows flashes of gold, blue, green, and the rarest, violet. This is caused by an effect called Labradorescence.
These particular beads have been hand cut and polished to make them sparkle every time they move.
