Carnelian is a variation of the silica based mineral Chalcedony. Iron Oxide impurities in the stone, give it a beautiful color range from pale-orange, to a brownish red.
These beads have larger 2.5mm holes drilled for easier use of thicker cords, elastics, or various types of threads.
