Aquamarine is the blue variation of the mineral Beryl. Its name is derived from the Latin word for seawater and it was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. It is also the traditional Birthstone for March.
These particular beads have been cut and polished into Faceted 4mm Bicones.
