Howlite is a white mineral with grey veining similar to that of Turquoise. It was discovered in Nova Scotia by Henry How, for whom the stone was named after. Due to its porous nature, it is usually dyed to imitate Turquoise.

These beads have larger 2.5mm holes drilled for easier use of thicker cords, elastics, or various types of threads.
